April M. Lepito

   Director of Career Development

April Lepito happily returns to a higher educational setting and is thrilled to be in a creative environment to assist aspiring artists as they begin their personal and professional journeys at the Academy. Education has continually been a cornerstone to April’s goals through her time at Providence College and the University of Salamanca, Spain where she was an advisor and tutor to students learning the English language.

During her six years in Boston, April served in several Assistant Directorship roles with the Alumnae Association at Wellesley College. She developed programming to effectively link the 35,000 alumnae to the college and to each other through campus and nation-wide events. She recruited, hired, and trained several hundred students each year to execute events for such prestigious alumnae as Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton and former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright. During her time at Wellesley, April also served on committees to disperse grants and fellowships in order to further the undergraduate students’ educational opportunities.

April has traveled across the country to reside in San Francisco and is excited to embark on her new role to assist students in fulfilling their dreams to flourish as the next generation of leaders in the beauty industry.
